You're given enough information on the players to see how your team will mesh together, and to get some attachment to them. The play by play is entertaining enough to watch.In about 10 hours, I've had 2 CTD's. Neither caused any problems, and both of which were doing something you wouldn't ordinarily do as you play. Other than that I'm not seeing any bugs at all.My only gripes with the game are:1. There's no manual at all, which is inexcusable for a text based game which has been around a few years. Seriously, devs... it's really not that much to ask for.2. The game could show you more info on the players. Like it might tell you, "Joe Bloggs doesn't have enough speed to play the perimeter" in the scouting report. But speed isn't one of the player attributes, so how am I supposed to know if a player has great speed for a position or not, just based on checking out the attributes?3. There's obviously a reputation score somewhere, that you need to exceed in order to successfully apply for a position with an NBA team. You're not told what your reputation is though, and you're not allowed to apply for a position unless you quit the post you're working at. So I quit my last spot in the D-league with a team I liked and had just taken to the finals, then ended up back in the D-league the following year since I didn't have enough rep to get a position in the NBA. I should have been able to recognize that without quitting.But overall this is a fine game. It is pricey, but then again OOTP developments sells Franchise Hockey Manager 5 for $30 and this is a lot better than FHM5. It's not an outlandish price for an established dev in this genre. All that said, yeah, pick this up on sale unless you have to have a text based basketball manager sim RIGHT NOW.
